What Families Are Saying
Cottonwood Creek Staff,
We all enjoyed the BBQ we had at the Mill Creek Canyon. We enjoyed the good food. Thanks a bunch to Kaye, Linnea, Brandon, Jarrod, and Kenra. We really enjoyed the BINGO game and the wonderful prizes. We all want to thank you all again from the bottom of our hearts. We appreciate the hard work you all put toward making it a successful BBQ.

To Whom It May Concern,
In remembrance of my Mother Patricia, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the staff members at Cottonwood Creek. Unfortunately we have always lives miles away from our mother. Although we have kept in close contact by phone. Now that mom is gone I do regret not making it a point to go and see her more often. I have learned that sometimes our priorities can get out of place. As life seems to throw many things our way.
As I look back and reflect on my Mother’s life I see how blessed she really was living in Salt Lake City. While remembering all of her friends and the many different organizations, and people that helped her out. By bringing her meals, furniture, and just keeping her company. During the last several months of her life, many staff members went above and beyond the call of duty and have truly restored my faith there are still people in this world that do care for a fellow human being.
While I was in Salt Lake City I observed many different staff members with different job duties they performed for my mother. I noticed that they did it with love in their hearts and a kind smile on their faces. Having a job taking care of older people, I can imagine at times can be frustrating, and I am sure the money does not pay enough. I will never forget the people I met and will always remember the love and kindness that they all had expressed towards my mother.
My Mother was not one to allow people to walk over her and always let me know how she felt about her surroundings. She told me how much she liked her new apartment and how much everyone had worked together and how nice everyone was to her and to make her comfortable. I pray to God that every one of you, who take a part in caring for elderly people, truly understand what an impact you make on the ending portion of their lives. Also for how much I thank you from the bottom of my heart for treating my mother with the utmost respect and loving her as if she were your own. Sometimes in life people only do what they need to do and nothing more. Most of the times we only think about ourselves, about how hard it must be to care for others when we live in a world that shows very little care for us.
So I am here to say, “ I CARE FOR ALL OF YOU”. I am praying for all of you that God blesses you for all you do. Although you might not see your blessings here on earth, you will see them in heaven.
It is true there are Angels on earth and I met some of you.
In Loving Memory of my Mother Patricia Sitler.
Yours Sincerely with Love and Respect,
J. Wharton
